Saunton Headland
North Devon

Croyde is a typical North Devon village, with it’s quaint thatched cottages, rolling hills and a pretty stream that winds it’s way through to the picturesque sandy bay. Sheltered by Saunton Down and Baggy Point to the north the beautiful sandy beach of Croyde Bay is famous for it’s surf and is now probably this country’s number one surfer’s destination.

Kittiwell House Bed & Breakfast occupies an idyllic position on North Devon’s breathtaking coastline, close to the famous award winning beaches of Woolacombe & spectacular Putsborough. For sheer beauty the local beach at Saunton Sands has much to offer. Five miles of golden sands with the dunescape of the Biosphere at Braunton Burrows nestling in the background makes it one of the most picturesque scenes in the whole country.

For those who prefer the country life a few miles drive can take you inland to the wild untamed beauty of Exmoor and Lorna Dune country.
